Instructions

Adults and children over 5 years: take 1 sachet nightly before bed, after brushing teeth and completing any other oral hygiene practices.
Pour the contents of the sachet directly into the mouth, and swish around until dissolved.
Avoid rinsing, drinking or eating for at least 30 minutes to allow the contents to coat oral surfaces.

The health of the oral microbiome influences many aspects of oral health. The composition and balance of bacteria within oral biofilms alter the production of acidic, alkali and antimicrobial metabolites and the immune system's inflammatory response, influencing the risk of dental cavities, gingivitis, and periodontal disease. Biome Dental™ Probiotic is a combination of four specific probiotic strains that have been shown to support tooth and gum health via their beneficial effects on the oral microbiome across 7 clinical trials. In one randomized placebo-controlled trial where 60 healthy children took Biome Dental once a day before bed, significant improvements in gum health and reduced dental plaque were observed within three days. After 14 days, Biome Dental™ reduced the build-up of dental plaque by 69% and significantly improved gum health, with a 68% reduction in the gingival index (a measure of poor gum health). Compared to placebo and chlorhexidine mouthwash, there were significantly greater improvements after using Biome Dental after 14 days. Biome Dental Probiotic has also been found to provide significant benefits similar to clinical trials involving adults.
